A busy week, a shorter & earlier apple crop has brought the 2011 season to an unexpectedly short end ....

We know that the abrupt end will be disappointing to many of you, as it is to us, but we do play a "guessing game" at season's end. We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience and hope that we will see you in 2012. We are very appreciative of your business.

Haight Orchards has been growing apples and peaches in Rockingham County NC since 1987 but apple growing goes back six generations in our family! We have 5 acres of apples, featuring 10 varieties (among them Ginger Gold, Gala, Red & Golden Delicious, Jonagold, Mutsu, York, Fuji) and 4 acres of peaches, all of which are freestone. We feature both pick -your-own and already-picked apples usually available from early August thru early to mid Sept. Our peaches are already picked and sold from our barn and usually begin mid-July thru late August. We are open seasonally from mid- July through early to mid- Sept.
